According to local news, both Los Angeles and Orange Counties in California will be moving into the Orange Tier on Wednesday, March 31. This is exciting news because this means that Disneyland and other theme parks can reopen at a greater capacity!! Being in the orange tier opens up the possibility to open at 25% capacity, instead of the 15% we were expecting. This gives Disneyland, Knott’s Berry Farm, Universal Studios Hollywood, and Six Flags Magic Mountain can all potentially open at 25% capacity.
Universal Studios Hollywood has announced an April 16th reopening, with tickets available starting April 5th for prior tickets and April 8th for new tickets.
Six Flags Magic Mountain has been announced to reopen April 1st to the Season Passholders and April 3rd to the general public.
Knott’s Berry Farm is set to reopen after its food festival ends on May 2nd.
As we know, Disneyland is reopening April 30th. This gives us an opportunity to move down to even the yellow tier before reopening. So fingers crossed.
Stay tuned as we continue to update you on this developing story.
