With the ever changing situation involving COVID-19, Disney has been deliberate with their reopening procedures. According to Disneyland.com, Disney is working closely with state and local authorities, to ensure health and safety for their Cast Members and guests.
Protective measures put in place include:
increasing the amount of handwashing stations as well as park sanitation, requiring masks for both guests(ages 2 and older) and Cast Members, and mandatory temperature checks for both guests and Cast Members.
Physical Distancing measures put in place include:
reducing park capacity and putting up physical barriers where needed, as well as reduced high-contact areas and signage to direct the flow of pedestrian traffic throughout the park. Guests are encouraged to use mobile pay options, such as Mobile Ordering and Apple Pay, to reduce contact between guests and Cast Members.
Update(7/20/2021): As the climate is changing in the magic kingdom, so are the rules.
Physical distancing has been relaxed as well as the mandatory temperature screenings. Cast Members and guests who have been fully vaccinated are allowed to come into the park without facial coverings. All Cast Members and guests are being asked to use facial coverings indoors.
