Every day that Disneyland is closed, we as the fanatics see every update as a stepping stone. According to Disneyland News Today, there is now social distancing markers at the turnstiles. While we have already seen these at the shops in Downtown Disney, we are now seeing steps toward the gates and we cannot be more excited.
Rolling on that note, Anaheim is pushing harder and harder for the guidelines that Governor Newsom had promised was "coming soon." The leaders of Anaheim, Buena Park, and Garden Grove, with the Anaheim Chamber of Commerce, have formed the Reopen O.C. coalition to urge Newsom to reopen all theme parks, not just Disneyland Resort. They are frustrated with the lack of attention theme parks are recieving, as this is financially devastating the region. Jobs, incomes, businesses and, most importantly, the citizens are suffering and still, we wait.
