The wait is almost over! #morethananhour
Waiting for Disneyland tickets? Disneyland has officially begun ticket sales for those who didn't already have an active ticket and the queue is filling up. Currently the reservation system hasn't shown anything as unavailable through the end of June but things are just starting to heat up!! Get in the queue here: The Wait is Almost Over | Disneyland Resort (disneyparks.com)
As a reminder, the only tickets that appear to be for weekends would be the most expensive, tier 5 tickets, running $154 for a single day ticket and $209 for a park hopper. Wishing the best of luck to all who are in the queue this morning, that you can get the reservations you want! See reservations here: Theme Park Reservation Availability (go.com)
Stay tuned in as we continue to cover this story!
At 10:27am, I have the approximate wait time of 21 minutes. We have been signed on since 7:15 am. As of this moment, all days are still open for reservation. Holding our breath. My husband was signed in before me and still has an "over an hour" wait.
We are only purchasing tickets for one day right now. We will be making another trip in the fall, when the availability opens up.
At 10:44am, the window opened up for us to make a purchase. When I clicked Continue at the bottom of the page, the page froze. I am not really sure how to proceed from here. FINALLY. The website refreshed at 10:51am with the checkout page. However, my impatience caused the site to add more tickets than I wanted. At 10:58, I am now without tickets and without the page to buy them. At 11:09am, I got this...
But now, I am struggling just to be signed in and check out at the same time. At 11:37am, I have gotten the Woody screen once again... At 11:40am, I have been able to order tickets!! Off to the reservation process!
As of 11:55am, the closest I have gotten to getting into the reservation system is getting placed back in the queue for the tickets. I am staring at the "The Wait Is Almost Over" with the same recalculating that everyone has been having so much fun with. At 12:10pm, I have more than an hour in my "reservation queue", if that's what it is.
Finally, at 1:45pm, thanks to my husband's spot in the reservation queue, I am able to schedule my reservations. My spot in the queue still read at "more than an hour". I want to throw up, based on the fact we bought tickets to go to opening day and they were sold out when we had 3 minutes left on the clock. But the DLR Family will be in Disneyland bright and early May 1st, ready and willing. Mike and I will be returning to Disney California Adventure on June 13th to see Avengers Campus. So here we are, 8 hours after starting up the computers with confirmation of park attendance.
Thank you all for staying with us on this wild ride and we hope to see you in the parks!
