Did you know there was a blog dedicated to telling you when new pins are going to be released? Thanks to Disney Pins Blog, we can see what we might expect to hit stores, or parks, next!
Disney Pins Blog gave us some insight into the coming Hidden pins. What’s a Hidden Pin? Hidden pins, which used to be called Hidden Mickey Pins, are pins exclusively available to Cast Members. Why would we care about that if we aren’t Cast members? Because we can TRADE with Cast Members!! There are two new collections of Hidden Disney Pins, specific to Disneyland and Walt Disney World! These are the first series pins and you can expect to see them on Cast Member badges or lanyards soon!
Both sets feature Carnevale Masks, Star Wars, Marvel and Pixar pins but you will notice they differ from each other. Disneyland‘s Carnevale Masks belong to the Mickey and friends characters, while Walt Disney World’s Carnevale Masks are Disney Villians. Both parks feature Star Wars droids, although they are different droids for each park. Disneyland gets the honor of Marvel’s original Avengers, while Walt Disney World gets the rest of the crew. Disneyland Hidden Pins:
This series includes Disneyland “D” pins, featuring the classic “D” found on most merchandise, as well as Mickey and friends doing “California Activities” and characters from our favorite Pixar Shorts.
and the Walt Disney World Hidden Pins:
This series includes castles filled with different themes, as well as some of the beloved characters from The Lion King and A Bug’s Life. I can’t wait to trade with Cast Members and to see what they come up with next!!
