Of course, all the passes are subject to the terms and conditions of having a theme park reservation for the days they plan to attend, and theme park capacity may be limited due to various reasons including, but not limited to, Acts of God, governmental direction or guidance from health experts. Your pass is activated the first day you use it at the turnstiles, and will remain in activation until that day the following year. Passes are required to have photos associated with them, and can be denied access without proper identification. To upgrade, you must wait for the pass expiration to select a pass of equal or greater value and every guest wishing to be upgraded must be present at the time of upgrade. All passes are available for renewal, or purchase of another year, as long as the renewal is paid for before the expiration date.

The Process:

So you paid the big money for keys to the Kingdom. Now what?

Step one: Check the Magic Key access calendar for the date you wish to attend.

Step two: Log onto your existing Disney account If you haven't done so already, link your Magic Key ID(18-digit). Go to park reservations and make that reservation!

Step three: Review and confirm your visit. You can provide an email for a confirmation of your reservation.

Step four: Show your Magic Key pass in the Disneyland app at the turnstiles.

It's that easy!

So hold on tight, family, as Disney shakes things up with the new membership to the Happiest Place on Earth. Do you like the new pass options? We would love to know! Comment and tell us what you think! Thanks for reading and, as always, we'll see you in the parks!
