According to Disney Parks Blog, Disney California Adventure gate is opening Buena Vista Street to give guests a little more Disney. Given the overwhelming success of the Disneyland Resort Backlot Premiere Shop opening at Stage 17, Disney has decided that they want to up the ante. Some of the shopping and dining experiences that you can expect are as follows:
Elias & Co. is the premier one stop shop for Disney merchandise in Disney California Adventure Park. With sections for men, women, jewelry, and kiddos, there is a slew of fashion finery. Inspired by the grand Los Angeles department stores of yesteryear, you can find Mickey Ears, apparel, pins, gifts, housewares, toys and art.
Julius Katz & Sons is packed full of holiday merchandise and Disney-themed home decor. Most popular for the trading pins, you can also find kitchen gadgets, dinnerware and aprons here.
Kingswell Camera Shop is the place to go for anything from frames, photo albums and more. During park hours, this is the location at which you can print your PhotoPass memories, and there are all the accessories you can think of to accompany them.
Trolley Treats is offering you a taste of Disney magic with their popcorn, churros, ice cream and other treats. They make their treats the old-fashioned way, and you can taste the love in their caramel apples, toffee and fudge.
Fiddler, Fifer & Practical Cafe is the equivalent to Market Place in Disneyland, and essentially a Starbucks location. You can get your coffee, latte, tea or quick snack here.
Carthay Circle Lounge has expanded their outdoor dining to give you that extra Disney dining experience with their all-new menu of cocktails and food items. The full restaurant of Carthay Circle will not be available but a quick drink and snack in the lounge is. For the kiddos, they have sodas, Lemonades, Shirley Temples and Roy Rogers.
Smokejumpers Grill is offering the American favorites - burgers, fries, onion rings and craft beer - for those who want to place their order on the Disneyland App. It is the only location that is not specifically Buena Vista Street that will be opening during this event.
These unique experiences are coming to Disneyland Resort in late November. Of course, all the safety measures will be observed, such as masks for everyone over 2 unless actively eating or drinking. Entrance will be limited to promote social distancing. As always, keep checking in for more information.
