The New Disney College Program Housing District

American Campus Communities and Walt Disney World Resort have teamed up to build a brand new housing district for the up and coming Cast Members. Located at Flamingo Crossings, the $630 million residential community will add 10,400 beds, two 25,000-square-foot community centers, resort-style pools, and more.

Program participants were supposed to be able to move into the East Campus starting in May 2020, but the COVID-19 pandemic had another plan, closing down the parks and requiring Disney College Program participants to move out by March 18th. Putting a damper on the construction of the housing district, East Campus is still under construction but they are getting very close to completion.

Construction has begun on Phase Two of the project, meaning West Campus, and East Campus is looking more and more like a completed structure.
