As we all know, Disney’s Grand California Hotel reopened its doors in April 29, in anticipation for the reopening of the adjacent theme parks. We also know that the hotel was not running all its facilities due to a limited capacity.
We now know that Storyteller’s Cafe and Napa Rose are the next step, reopening their doors on May 28th. While this is exciting enough, there’s more! With the reopening of the afore mentioned restaurants, the hotel restaurants are lifting the ban on non-hotel guests, opening up to the general public. Reservations are not available at this time.
Hotel guests will be pleased to hear that the access point straight into Disney’s California Adventure will ALSO be reopening on May 28th.
And even better news for those of us seeking the budget option for staying at Disney, the Paradise Pier hotel will be reopen its doors before this summer’s season. On June 15th, the hotel will be welcoming guests once more, although there will not be any food and beverage services available. Guests will have to go into Downtown Disney or the Grand Californian for their eating options. However! Downtown Disney is attempting to assist by delivering the food to the hotel lobby for guests who wish to get Downtown Disney food and eat in their room. Menus and order options will be available on the hotel TVs.
At this time we have no news on Disneyland Hotel other than the construction on the Disney Vacation Club Tower.
Downtown Disney opens even further with the reopening of the Catal restaurant in the middle of Downtown Disney. The UVA Bar was reopened previously but the full-service restaurant will be a welcome addition to the shopping district. Catal reservations are available at this time.
Thanks for reading and as always, keep tuned in for more Disneyland news as it breaks. We’ll see you in the parks!!
